Packaging for paint

Packaging for paint

There are different paint containers for transferring and storing your paint, varnish or stain. For a lot or a little paint, always the right size and therefore less air in the packaging. Keep paint for yourself or give it to your customer, with or without a label, everything is possible.

Cylindrical cans are the most common packaging for paint and varnish. They are available in many capacity sizes, with special coating for water-based products or just without, for solvent-based paint. With an extra airtight RL closure or with an even more user-friendly TT closure that keeps its shape extra well with repeated opening and closing.

Conical cans are also widely used for airtight packaging of paint and lacquer. They are wider at the top than at the bottom and stack well together, so they take up less space when empty. Conical cans can be emptied completely well because there is usually no rim at all that might hinder the pouring of paint slightly.

Plastic buckets are also conical and are widely used for packing water-based wall paint.

The benefits at a glance:

  • Always the right size packaging, so less air in the packaging
  • Can packaging seals airtight
  • Overall options in terms of finishing and coating, including for waterborne products
